Bon Voyage Peter, Welcome Drew!

Troop 69 held its fall Court of Honor on Sunday afternoon, September 26, 2004 in Trinity Hall. In addition to awarding a boat load of rank advancements and merit badges, Troop 69 also honored outgoing scoutmaster Peter Voorhees for his almost 6 years of service in this most important of positions.  Peter has done a great job as scoutmaster these past years, and we will definitely miss his calm and steady hand at the Troop 69 tiller. From all of the scouts and scouters of your Troop 69 family we say "Thank You!".

After celebrating Peter's tenure with the troop, Drew Barnard took the oath of office to become our new scoutmaster. Drew has been a very active adult participant in our program for the past 3 years and we welcome him into this new role in our troop.  Everyone is very excited about the seamless transition from one great leader to another, and we all look forward to working closely with Drew to continue the great traditions of this great troop!
